Plots and warehousesThey see heat, not light: they detect a person along a long perimeter in darkness or fog, and warn of an abnormal hot spot (they don't replace fire detection).
Perimeters and industryCameras record; the alarm alerts. Together they do more: when a detector is triggered you see that area's camera on your phone, and if the alarm is linked to an alarm receiving centre (ARC; we work with Tecalsa and 3D Seguridad), the ARC verifies using those images before alerting the police. With Dahua, Hikvision, Ajax or Vesta, cameras and alarm can come from the same manufacturer and share an app; if you already have an alarm, we choose cameras that work with it.

No. In a business or a residents' community you must display a visible sign informing people of the CCTV area, keep a record of processing activities, delete footage within a month, and not record the public street more than strictly necessary, nor rest areas or changing rooms. We put the sign up for you and explain the rest when we install.
It depends on the number of cameras, the resolution and the drive. As a guide, 4 cameras at 4 MP with a 2 TB drive record about 15 days continuously, and considerably more if they only record on motion. In a business or a residents' community the law requires footage to be deleted within one month at most, unless it captures a crime: in that case it's kept and handed to the police. We size the drive for that period.
Yes. The apps from the manufacturers we work with (Dahua, Hikvision, Uniview, Ajax and Vesta) are free and the connection runs over your own internet line. The only fee you can take out, if you want, is our maintenance plan.
We work with Dahua, Hikvision, Uniview, Ajax and Vesta. No single one is best for everything: it depends on the resolution and analytics you need, what you already have installed and the alarm they'll be integrated with. Your quote tells you which we recommend and why.
Yes. If the cameras and alarm are from the same manufacturer (Dahua, Hikvision, Ajax or Vesta) you control everything from one app and every activation comes with its video. If they're different brands, in most cases they can still be linked; we check before quoting.
Yes. When the alarm goes off, the alarm receiving centre (ARC) can view the camera images to confirm whether there's an intrusion before alerting the police. We work with the Tecalsa and 3D Seguridad monitoring centres. It's common for businesses, warehouses and residents' communities. If you'd rather manage it yourself, the cameras work just the same without a monitoring centre and with no fee.
Yes. As well as kits for small businesses and homes, we carry out projects for hotels, residents' communities, industrial parks and companies with several sites: site survey, project with plans, phased installation without disrupting your operations and a maintenance contract.
Without internet, the camera keeps recording to the local drive; you only lose remote viewing until it comes back. Without power, everything stops unless we install a UPS, which keeps a recorder and four cameras running for one to two hours.
Almost always. If they're from a well-known brand we install and configure them, and only charge for labour. If they're from a brand with no support, we tell you before touching anything.
Yes. Our shop is in Adeje and most installations are in Tenerife, but we carry out video surveillance and alarm projects across the rest of the Canary Islands. Tell us about it and we'll plan the trip around the installation.
