Data deletion
This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
This page explains how to ask us to delete your personal data, including any data related to our Meta app. The data controller is Dalmon Sistemas S.L. (OK Computer), tax ID (NIF) B76726504, C/ Agustín Millares 6B, 38678 Armeñime, Adeje (Santa Cruz de Tenerife).
What “Ok Computer App” is
“Ok Computer App” (ID 1100961672419445) is the app we have registered on Meta for Developers. Only we use it, to publish the posts we prepare on our own Facebook page and Instagram account. It does not offer Facebook Login to anyone else and it is not available to the public.
What data about you the app processes
None. The app does not ask for access to your account, does not read your profile, contacts, messages or comments, and does not store any data about Facebook or Instagram users. It only handles data about our own accounts: the IDs of our page and our Instagram account, and the status of each post (whether and when it has been published).
How to ask us to delete your data
Even though the app stores nothing about you, you can ask us at any time to delete the personal data we hold about you, for example if you have messaged us on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or through the website form:
- Email info@okcomputertenerife.com with the subject “Data deletion” (or write to the postal address above).
- Give us your name and something that lets us find you: your email address, your phone number or the name of your Facebook or Instagram profile.
- We will delete your data and confirm it in writing within one month at the latest. If we cannot verify that the request comes from you, we will first ask you to prove your identity.
Data we are required by law to keep (for example, invoices, for the periods set by tax and commercial law) is not erased straight away: it is blocked, not used for anything else, and deleted when that period ends (article 32 of Spain's LOPDGDD).
Removing the app from your Facebook account
If you ever gave “Ok Computer App” access (which can only happen if you manage one of our accounts), you can remove it yourself: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites, choose “Ok Computer App” and click “Remove”. From then on the app no longer has access to your account.
More information
Everything we process, why and for how long is in the Privacy policy. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
