You choose how to have it: bought outright with no fees, linked to an alarm receiving centre (ARC, known in Spain as CRA) that alerts the police, or on a monthly plan. The system is yours from day one. When it goes off, the app sends an alert with a photo to you and whoever you choose, and you decide what to do. No monthly bills, no minimum term.
You buy the alarm and we connect it to an alarm receiving centre (ARC) through an authorised security company, as required by Spain's Private Security Act: we work with the Tecalsa and 3D Seguridad monitoring centres. The centre receives every activation, verifies it using the detectors' photos, your cameras or several sensors and, if it's real, alerts the police and you. The equipment remains yours: you only pay for the monitoring service.
If you'd rather not make the upfront investment, you can have it on a monthly plan. Before you sign, we explain in writing how long it lasts, what it includes and what happens when it ends.
The same equipment works self-monitored, linked to an ARC or on a monthly plan. Changing option doesn't mean changing the installation.

An alarm tells you something has happened; cameras tell you what. We install them so they work together: when a detector is triggered you see that area's camera on your phone, and if the alarm is linked to a monitoring centre, the ARC uses those images to verify and alert the police sooner. If you connect it to an alarm receiving centre (ARC), yes. In Spain the police only respond to verified alarms: with images, audio or several detectors triggered in a row. The monitoring centre carries out that check, and camera detectors and integrated cameras do it in seconds. If it's self-monitored, with no fee, the alert goes to you and whoever you set up. You can start without a monitoring centre and connect it later without changing the equipment.

It depends on the site and what you already have. If you have Dahua or Hikvision cameras, their alarm goes in the same app as the cameras. Ajax stands out for wireless installations thanks to its range of detectors, and it has its own cameras. Vesta is very common when the priority is monitoring centre connection with video verification. During the visit we'll recommend one and explain why.
Yes, and we recommend it. With an alarm and cameras from the same manufacturer you see everything in one app and every activation comes with its video. If they're different brands, in most cases they can still be linked, or the monitoring centre accesses the cameras to verify. We check this before quoting.
It depends on what you're protecting. In a lived-in home many families prefer buying with no fee and alerts to their phone. For a business, a second home or if your insurer requires it, ARC monitoring gives you 24-hour surveillance. The monthly plan suits you if you don't want the upfront outlay. Your tailored quote sets out all three options with figures.
The app shows you the status of every detector, the battery and the connection at all times, and alerts you if anything fails. If you'd rather not worry about it, you can book an annual service with us including battery replacement and updates, with no minimum term. Alarms linked to a monitoring centre also need the periodic inspection required by regulations, which is scheduled with the security company.
The control panel has a backup battery lasting several hours and a SIM card. If the internet or power is cut, it keeps watching and keeps sending alerts over the mobile network.
That's where it makes the most sense. From the app you can check the status of your home from any country, receive photos if it goes off and give temporary access to your cleaner or whoever checks on the property. If the house stands empty for long periods, we recommend connecting it to a monitoring centre and adding flood and smoke sensors.
There are pet-immune motion detectors that ignore dogs and cats when installed at the right height. We test it during the visit with your pet there.

Yes. We fit an opening detector on the shutter and a motion detector inside. The radio signal passes through normal walls; in large warehouses we add a repeater.
Almost always. With an integration module (such as Ajax's MultiTransmitter) or a hybrid panel from Hikvision or Vesta, we connect your working wired detectors to a new control panel: you replace the old panel and gain the app, phone alerts and the option to add wireless sensors. Yes. The Ajax, Dahua, Hikvision and Vesta ranges we install are certified Grade 2 under standard EN 50131, the grade Spanish regulations (Orden INT/316/2011) require for connecting homes and most businesses to a monitoring centre. There are also Grade 3 solutions for higher-risk sites.
A pocket jammer can block the signal within a few metres, but professional alarms monitor the radio channel constantly: if they detect interference they report it as a sabotage attempt, and the control panel has several routes to the internet (cable, Wi-Fi and SIM).
