What changes for you and what we do
VeriFactu is Spain's verifiable invoicing system: the law requires every receipt and every invoice to be recorded with a chained code and a QR code that the Tax Agency can verify. The current dates are 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for autónomos (self-employed). The software does the work; what needs to be done right is the configuration, and that's our job.

Will my current POS comply with VeriFactu?
If it's an up-to-date Sysme, Glop, BDP Net, Factory POS, ETPOS or STEL Order, yes. If it's another program, we check whether the manufacturer has released a VeriFactu-ready version; if not, we tell you in good time and migrate your products and customers to one that complies. You'll find the details on the VeriFactu page.
When does VeriFactu become mandatory?
Under the current timetable, 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for autónomos (self-employed). It's best not to wait until the last month: updating the software, configuring IGIC and testing all take time, and in December every technician is in a rush.
Can I keep writing receipts by hand if there's a power cut?
You can, but they then have to be entered into the system. The usual solution is a UPS that keeps the POS and the printer running for one or two hours.
How long does a POS installation take?
Half a day if the premises are ready. We load your menu or products before we arrive, and the morning is spent installing, testing printers and training your staff.
Do you train my staff?
Yes, on the day of the installation, and we come back if your team changes. With Premium plans and above, training for new employees is included.
What's the difference between Sysme and Glop?
Glop is designed for hospitality: tables, handhelds, kitchen. Sysme is stronger in retail: stock, scales, barcodes. Both comply with VeriFactu and we know both inside out.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
In Adeje, €10. In Arona, San Miguel de Abona, Granadilla, Guía de Isora and Santiago del Teide, €20. Elsewhere on the island, €40. With Premium plans and above, the included visits carry no call-out fee.
Do you work with chains or only with small businesses?
Both. Most of our customers have one or two premises, but we also roll out POS systems in chains, franchises and hotels with several points of sale, with centralised management and priority support. The quote is tailored to the number of sites and terminals.
Do you sell just the hardware, without software?
Yes. We build custom setups: screen, printer, cash drawer, scales, scanner or handheld separately. If you already have the software, we install it on the new equipment and migrate your data.
How do I get a quote and how long does it take?
