A menu that makes you thirsty before you order.
This is a sample digital menu for a cocktail bar: glasses fill up when you open them, the neon flickers and every cocktail shows what goes in, how strong it is and its allergens. Guests open it with the QR code on the table, nothing to install. “Nocturna” is a made-up bar; yours would carry your name, your cocktails and your prices.
What does a cocktail bar gain from an animated digital menu?
An animated digital menu sells through the eyes: in a cocktail bar people choose by how they picture the drink, and a card that fills with colour in front of them decides it faster than a list of names. OK Computer designs it with the bar’s look, the house cocktails and their prices, and puts it on a web address that opens from a QR code on the table, at the bar or on Instagram.
Each cocktail has its own card: ingredients, a strength scale, whether it is alcohol-free and its allergens. Changing a price, adding the cocktail of the month or switching on happy hour takes one message: ask us on WhatsApp or at our shop in Adeje and someone on the island changes it. The menu can be in Spanish, English and your guests’ languages.
The “Order at the bar” button in this example is a simulation. In a real venue, online orders can go into the bar’s POS with no commission per order: we set it up with the POS software that suits your venue.
What your cocktail bar’s menu can include
Chosen with the owner: not every menu needs everything.
Animation in your style
Glasses that fill, bubbles, neon or something calmer: the motion is drawn for your bar, not taken from a template.
A card for every cocktail
Ingredients and measures, strength, alcohol-free and allergens, so staff don’t have to repeat it at every table.
Happy hour and cocktail of the month
A banner announcing today’s offer and a featured cocktail you change whenever you like.
In your guests’ languages
Spanish, English and whatever your clientele asks for, with the same menu and the same prices.
QR code on tables and bar
Guests open it with their phone camera, without downloading any app.
Orders that reach the POS
If you want guests to order from the menu, the order goes into the bar’s POS instead of sitting on a separate tablet.
Questions about digital menus for cocktail bars
How much does a digital menu like this cost?
A restaurant or bar website with a QR menu starts at €590 including IGIC, in Spanish and English, with the first year of domain, hosting and maintenance. Custom animations and the POS connection are quoted separately depending on what they include; you get a fixed written price before we start.
Do my guests need to install an app?
No. The menu is a web page: it opens from the QR code with the phone camera, on iPhone or Android, and also from the link on your Instagram or Google profile.
Can I change prices and cocktails myself?
Yes, or ask us. Maintenance includes two changes a month (a price, a new cocktail, a photo), done within 48 working hours, and you request them on WhatsApp at +34 922 71 73 90.
Can orders from the menu reach my POS?
Yes. Online orders can be connected to the venue’s POS with no commission per order. In this example the “Order at the bar” button only simulates sending; in your bar we set it up with the POS software that suits the venue.
Does it work in low light and on any guest’s phone?
That is what it is designed for: a dark background that doesn’t dazzle in a night venue, large text and buttons that are easy with one hand. Anyone who has reduced motion turned on in their phone sees it without animations.
