Tenerife TPV launches an Italian version and pages by type of business

Tenerife TPV, the OK Computer website devoted solely to point-of-sale systems, can now be read in three languages: Spanish, English and Italian. Many bars, restaurants and shops in the south of Tenerife are run by Italians, and the shop in Armeñime has served them in their own language for years; it was time the website did the same.
A page for each type of business
Until now the site talked about hospitality and retail in general. There is now also a page for each of these businesses, with what their till really needs:
- Cafés and ice cream shops: fast sales at the counter and on the terrace.
- Bakeries and pastry shops: scales, invoices for bars and payment without handling coins.
- Beach bars and terraces: handhelds on outdoor Wi-Fi and a card terminal with 4G.
- Nightclubs and pubs: several bars, ticket desk and drinks included with entry.
- Hair salons and beauty centres: appointments, vouchers and client records.
Four new guides
Four guides have also been published, answering questions we hear every week: how much a POS costs and what the price depends on, whether Glop or Last.app is the better fit, what happens to the till if the internet or the power goes down, and whether it is worth linking the card terminal to the software.
